Early Life and Career

Lucy Diakovska was born on April 2, 1976, in Sofia, Bulgaria. She is the eldest child of Bulgarian opera singer Ljubomir Djakowski and concert pianist Rossiza Djakowska. Growing up in a musical family, Diakovska developed a love for singing and performing at an early age.

Diakovska began her career as a singer in the late 1990s, releasing her debut album "No Matter" in 1998. The album was a commercial success, selling over 100,000 copies in Bulgaria and establishing Diakovska as a popular singer in her home country.

International Success and Eurovision

Diakovska's international breakthrough came in 2008 when she represented Bulgaria at the Eurovision Song Contest. Her song "Djs, Take Control" finished in 11th place, but it gained significant popularity across Europe and beyond.

Since her Eurovision appearance, Diakovska has continued to release music and perform internationally. She has collaborated with various artists, including Peter Plate, Marcella Rockefeller, and David Guetta.
