Barcelona's Squad for the 2023-2024 Season
A New Era Begins
The Catalan giants have undergone a major overhaul in recent months, with a number of new signings and departures.
Following a disappointing campaign in which they finished second in La Liga and were knocked out of the Champions League in the quarter-finals, Barcelona have made a number of changes to their squad in a bid to challenge for major trophies again next season.
The most notable arrival is Robert Lewandowski, who has joined from Bayern Munich. The Polish striker is one of the most prolific goalscorers in world football and will be expected to provide the goals that Barcelona have lacked in recent seasons.
Other new signings include Raphinha from Leeds United, Jules Kounde from Sevilla, and Andreas Christensen from Chelsea. These players will all be expected to play key roles in Barcelona's quest for success next season.
As well as making a number of signings, Barcelona have also allowed a number of players to leave the club. These include Philippe Coutinho, who has joined Aston Villa, and Ousmane Dembele, who has joined Paris Saint-Germain.
With a new manager in place and a number of new signings, Barcelona will be hoping to challenge for major trophies again next season. They will be hoping to win La Liga for the first time since 2019 and to reclaim the Champions League trophy that they last won in 2015.
