A new pickleball venue company, PURE Pickleball, has announced plans to build its first facility on an 11-acre lot in Scottsdale, Arizona. The facility will feature 16 pickleball courts, a pro shop, a restaurant, and a bar.
PURE Pickleball is the brainchild of former professional pickleball player Tyson McGuffin. McGuffin said he was inspired to start the company after seeing the growing popularity of pickleball.
"Pickleball is the fastest-growing sport in America," McGuffin said. "We're excited to be a part of that growth and to provide a world-class pickleball experience for our customers."
The PURE Pickleball facility is expected to open in early 2023.
JaMarr Chase Vents Frustrations After Loss to Titans
Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver JaMarr Chase was visibly frustrated after the team's loss to the Tennessee Titans on Sunday. Chase was targeted just six times in the game, and he finished with only three catches for 33 yards.
After the game, Chase said he was "pissed off" about his lack of involvement in the offense.
"I'm a playmaker," Chase said. "I need to be getting the ball more."
Chase's frustration is understandable. He is one of the most talented wide receivers in the NFL, and he should be getting more opportunities to make plays. The Bengals need to find a way to get Chase more involved in the offense, or they will continue to struggle to win games.
